Where has the pause gone in music, the break, the silence, the nothingness, the dark matter of music, its antagonist, which it needs like day needs night? Today's music, at least the music that reaches the masses, keeps the level high. Staying tuned, always staying tuned is a must, so that listeners stay tuned, always stay tuned. The long note has also disappeared, the really long note, one that lasts minutes, hours, perhaps even days, months, years, or at least could last. The organ is the only analogue instrument that can play it.
The basic idea of this improvisation is to be a meditation on the pause and its soul mate, length, that has become music. But as with every improvisation, its king, the irretrievable moment, will also have the say here, and it doesn't like any kind of guidelines.
